How do you know if you have truly forgiven someone?? There has been so many times in my life where I need to forgive someone or even myself.. and while I say I have forgiven them... it's like i still cant 100% say i feel the weight of it being lifted off
Is it possible to forgive someone yet still be affected by what they did? (like I still get really sad/bummed & don't like bringing up an ex that didn't give me closure) Or if I truly forgive is it not suppose to affect me at all anymore? It's so confusing to me sometimes ππͺ While I'm SO happy in my current relationship and gave myself over a year to heal from the past one, I still get hurt thinking about it
