School, work and two kids under two.

Kay

Hi everyone. Im needing some words of advice. So, i am 22 years old and have a 19 month old and a one week old. My partner is 29 years old. Right now, we are stuck in the sense that we are trying to figure out a good system for us to be able to go back to school, work to keep a roof over our heads and be present to care and raise our children. I do not have a degree, but have some college experience/background and my partner is also in the same boat. I dont know what to go to school for. Ive been going back and forth between going to school to become an early education teacher or going to a technical college for something in the medical field that is quick that i can easily get into after graduating. I just want something that i can lean on and that will help me provide for my kids.. and to just have a "normal" job..

We do not have a babysitter, so once i am off maternity leave, i might go find a new job (we are currently working at a restaurant, bleh) and will have to find some type of schedule for both of us to work enough to provide for our family, but a flexible enough schedule to where we will not need to pay someone to watch our kids.

Our future plan is to move out of the city we are in, or a new state to start fresh for ourselves and our kids. Having two kids under two with no stable job makes me anxious. Weve worked at our restaurant for 3 years now, but obviously it is not what we want or where we want to be at all.. i guess what i'm asking is how other families have done it. How were you able to go to school, work and raise/watch our kids? How did you have enough time for everything? How did you decide what to go to school for? What type of schedule was your family on? Did you amd ypur s/o take turns going to school, as in one person went to school first while the other worked or? We just really need some tips. We cant stay where we are at... stagnant.. especially with two young kids. I want better for us. We both do. It just makes me anxious because i dont know where to start. Someone help..
