My husband and I had been trying to conceive for a bit over a year with no luck. Long story short, sperm count came back about 1 million, very low motility and poor morphology, well below normal levels in all fields. Results came in a left varicocele, but otherwise everything appeared ok. Blood test showed normal testosterone levels but higher than normal FSH.

My husband had the inguinal microsurgical done 5wks ago.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to this?

1. Very low sperm count

2. low motility

3. poor morphology

4. Normal testosterone levels

5. Higher than normal FSH hormone level

6. No sexual performance issues

7. Repaired varicocele

We are both taking a daily multi-vitamin and reduced alcohol consumption. Diet was already pretty good. Urologist wants a follow up semen sample at the 2 month mark, but I'm curious if anyone has had a similar experience. Did semen parameters improve/decline/ no change?
