My mum has a sister who’s not always been the nicest to me, I used to work for her and don’t get me wrong she’s not nasty towards me but she has said some pretty horrible things if things didn’t go right with the business, some of which wasn’t my fault, but I think because I was her niece I was the only person she felt she could talk to the way she wanted. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a very confrontational person but I also don’t let people talk down to me, I’m somewhere in between. Sometimes I did have a lump in my throat during work with the things she would say.. some examples

“Your thick as mince”

“Do your friends ever say your stupid?”

“Message your friends and ask if they think your stupid? They’ll be honest with you?”

“You don’t suit that skirt your legs are too chubby for it”

^^^ that last one was the one that got me the most. I could get called ugly, stupid, bitch, etc etc. But any comment about my weight just touches somewhere I can’t explain.

Fast forward to yesterday, I have started working for a company selling fragrances and makeup, kind of like an ambassador. I made my own insta page and have had a great turn out. I then decided to make a Facebook group. I sat for 2 hours transferring everything from the insta page onto my new Facebook group. I then published the group and invited people to join. I didn’t have it up for 15 minutes but my aunt (mums sister) messaged me and said I could use one of her old Facebook groups as she had 3000 members and all I had to do was transfer everything over to that group. She then made me admin of the group and I noticed she had over 2000+ posts dating back to 2015. I asked if there was any way of deleting them as these posts contained pictures of her business, her personal details, pictures of her limousine company. Her business was children’s dresses, so she had girls aged 12-16 modelling these dresses for her and of course with the parents permission she posted them on the Facebook page for advertisement. When I say there was 500+ photos of these dresses I’m not kidding. She said she’s not willing to delete them all which means I would have to do it. She said as soon as I post my things they’ll be at the top anyway so why do I care if her posts are there? But of course I care because it’s my fragrance business and dont want people to scroll down and see pics of limousine’s and children modelling dresses. I told her I very much appreciated her offer but there was too many posts to go through (2000+) and delete them. Plus these 3000 followers followed her for her limousines and dresses, not fragrances.

So I wake up today and notice 10 notifications on my Facebook. I go in and she’s took my own personalised profile picture which I created myself. She’s took my cover photo and she’s attached both onto this page with 3000 followers. She’s then took all my posts that I’ve also personalised and made my own and she’s copy and pasted them onto her page. She’s now on her own personal Facebook and sharing her page with 3000+ followers saying follow for some amazing fragrance. But when I go into the page it’s all my posts, all my pictures along with pics of limousines and children modelling dresses. When I search my company name on Facebook, hers in the first that pops up because she’s got the most followers. She’s now gained over 50+ followers since posting my things. Since I was admin I asked my friend to go in as if she was about to message and see if it comes up me and her to message and nope it’s just her. So people will be messaging her. Does anyone not find that just an absolute slap in the face and down right disrespectful? Im a 22 year old girl just trying to make something of her life and make something hers and her aunt has took over and made it hers. She doesn’t see it that way tho, said she’s only trying to help even tho I said I’ll just continue on my own group.
