Pregnant!!! Should I be worried?

Question

I had a preterm labor 6 years ago, then I had a miscarriage last year in October. Im 13 dpo and I thought I would definitely get a dye stealer by now, but no. I'm scared of losing this one. I hope this isnt a chemical. Should I be worried?

I wouldn’t be worried. I had dye stealers with my first but not with my second and Baby is looking good 💙

Tons and tons of people don’t have dye-stealers. Home pregnancy tests are qualitative, not quantitative. They can only tell you if you are pregnant, not how pregnant you are or how your pregnancy is progressing. Also if you’re worried about your progress you should go get a quantitative blood draw at the doctor... that will actually measure the hcg for your pregnancy. Hcg only doubles every 48-72 hours so testing every day isn’t going to show much of an increase in the darkness of the lines (not that testing to measure your pregnancy is a good idea anyways). But your pregnant and your lines look fine for how far along you are. But again, if you’re concerned go to your doctor, please don’t use home tests to see how your pregnancy is progressing, you’ll just stress yourself out which isn’t good for you or your developing embryo. But congratulations, I hope you have a happy, healthy 9 months.

Yea, I wouldn’t worry. As long as they’re going up instead of down there’s nothing to worry about! HCG rises at different levels. Some women don’t get a dye stealer until a whole week and a half after their first positive
