So I haven't actually decided how many children I want. I just had my first. Birth went fine but the pregnancy was rough. Right now I am thinking maybe only one kiddo is good for me.

But family has told me that is selfish. That if you have one child you are obligated to have at least one more so when you die they aren't alone.

Idk how I feel about that. It seems like a bit of an over reaction. They will have friends and maybe a spouse and extended family. Buy it does nag at the back of my head, that I HAVE to have a second child or I am somehow hurting my first.
