Is your LO using utensils to eat (on their own)?

The shorter ones are easier for them to handle and get to their mouths.

My little girl is using utensils pretty well given her age. She can use a preloaded spoon or fork without spilling it. She is trying to learn to load it herself and getting there lol. We use these and love them. She holds then with ease and loves using them

My boy has been grabbing the handle amd trying to do it himself. We gave him his own spoon and he is trying to scoop food himself. O am wondering the same thing about getting him his own stubby utensils!

He uses these. We pre-load them with food and either hand to him or lay on tray and he picks up. 
They often want to hold onto them and not let go for re-loading so I rotate through 2-3 of them (google 3 spoon circus) if you need/want more info - takes out the struggle of getting the spoon back lol
