I had a spinal tap done last week and I was told there was spinal fluid that leaked so I received a blood patch since one of the side effects is a debilitating headache within my age group specifically. The anesthesiologist did say I could still get a headache but it wouldn’t be bad enough to the point I can’t get up or function. two days ago I had chills and low grade fever along with the headache. Now it’s just the headache and was told to lie back flat to help with it or drink lots of caffeine. I was wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and what did you do? And should I worry about the chills and fever? I don’t want to google because I’ll scare myself.
