After having your babies when did you get your first period and how long did you bleed for ? I recently had my baby almost 2 months ago and I feel like I need to talk to other mommies about there experience with their bodies with after birth..

I got mine 6 1/2 weeks pp and it lasted about 4 days. Was lighter than my usual pre pregnancy period and minimal cramping!

I had my first period at 7 weeks pp. It lasted for 6-7 days which was normal for me before I got pregnant

I had my period at 5 weeks pp and I had super bad cramps along with heavy bleeding for 6 days. Not my usual. Before I got pregnant my periods were lasting about 3-4 days with not so much bleeding.

A little over five weeks after she was born. Lasted like four or five days which is normal. It wasn’t very heavy and it was completely painless. And then my second was normal as well.

I got mine around 8 weeks pp! It was pretty much the same as my periods before I got pregnant, maybe a little shorter.

I breastfed all of mine. I didn't get a period between my three kids. I got pregnant while still breastfeeding at a year pp with my second and third, without ever having a pp period.

I had a C section so I bled for like one week or two. Honestly, I don’t remember it exactly but then I stopped bleeding and I didn’t have my period for three months due to breastfeeding my son. When I got my period back, I bled a bit heavier than before but then my period cycle is normal like five days. Then I missed my period for one month (not pregnant) due to my body trying to regulate the period cycle then after that, it became normal ever since.

So had a c-section then bled for 3 weeks, stopped and had a period at exactly 2 months PP which lasted 3-4 days which is normal for me. Since then haven't had one since almost 4 months PP and had spotting here and there but nothing else.

I just had my first pp period at 10.5 months pp and it was a little bit worse cramps than usual but overall seemed pretty similar to my periods before baby.
