New Knitter
I began crocheting when I was 8 years old, but I had a hard time learning to knit. I tried when I was 19 and I kept messing up. It didnt look good. I got frustrated and went back to crocheting. In March my grandpa passed away. I knew he knit but i didn't know how good he was. My mom gave me his knitting things and as I went through them I found a bunch of half completed projects and some completed projects (like the tan and green blanket pictured). I decided I need to actually learn to knit to complete these projects for him. I started practicing with some left over yarn from my crochet projects and began a double knitted scarf (blue hearts). I think I've done pretty good and I am excited to finish his projects.
