Ear piercings?

I know it’s super early to ask and please no judgement if you don’t like piercings just move along, my baby girl is only 4 weeks but i know for sure we want i get her ears done after or around 3 months . Has anyone done this already and how was it for your little ones that have gotten their ears done before ? Also i was told that going to a tattoo shop is better then Claires and Walmart , but with COVID we probably won’t be taken her to neither.

My daughter is now 5 but I got hers done when she was 3 months old. Healing was easy and she didn’t mess with them at all.

I’m wanting to get my daughter’s ears pierced too! She’s 8 weeks old.

Tattoo shop for sure,  they are well trained and baby won't feel a thing, plus no loud noise to scare them.  I want to get my little girls done around 6 months.

Go to either her pediatrician or a reputable tattoo shop.  Our pediatrician does it in the office.

We got my daughters done at 4 months old at the pediatricians office. They used these little plastic disposable guns. She was upset for 3 seconds and then forgot about it. No issues. It was easy to care for and she never messed with it.

My daughter was 3 months when I took her to Claire’s she’s now 5 her ears healed up just fine. 😊 but I agree I’m not too sure if I’ll be taking my LO so soon this time she’s also 4 weeks

Most pediatrician do it. I wouldn’t trust Claire’s, to be honest.. Too many people I know have gotten infections, including myself, and they always do them uneven. Piercing pagoda is another option too.

My friend did her little girls ears at birth. She delivered her in Chile and it’s a tradition to shave all there heads and pierce there ears at birth. Of course she didn’t shave her head, lol but they did pierce her ears. It’s really up to you mama!:-)

You’re right. DONT go to Claire’s I went when I was 18 and I have permanent damage to one ear.

Tattoo shop for sure! They're specifically trained to do piercings unlike an 18 year old at Claires who probably watches at 15 minute How To video.
