Daddy sleeping on couch

Thoughts? My man has a 5yr old daughter from previous relationship and she is with us for summer. She is with us a month and half and begs to sleep with him every night. So they have been sleeping on couch or her room for the past 3 weeks. I feel bad that she doesn't see him daily but I feel as a parent should teach her how to sleep in her own bed. I don't know how to go about this. I feel everytime she comes to stay with us this is going to happen. I mean should I just keep being quite about this or push him more to get her to sleep on her room. I feel like this might put a damper on our relationship.
