normal?

okay, so i know we probably get this topic a lot. but does being on your period, plus the side effects of the birth control you may be on make you more tired? im scared because i read that too much sleep is harmful and increases health risks. but what does that depend on? i can literally take up to 3 or 4 naps a day. i even wake up tired sometimes. my boyfriend sometimes gets annoyed because all i do is sleep. but im currently in school and go to work 8 hours a day. am i okay? could that be apart of it? and will it go away soon? ?
