Crotch (maybe pubic bone?) pain while sleeping

Every night when I turn from one side to another, I have a sharp and uncomfortable pain in my crotch region while turning. I do not have this pain during the day or while standing up - it is literally only while turning from one side to another or getting up to go pee. Is anyone else experiencing this? What could it be? I did NOT have this pain with my first.

I had this with my first and now with my second too. I have to almost break the turn into shorter moves, hold on to my headboard, put my feet flat on the bed and lift my bum up and over,  or sometimes sit up entirely and turn this way. It’s like second nature now though

I have same. Doctor told, it is really common and ok. Putting a pillow between your legs at night helps actually.

Yes! Every night when getting out of bed to pee and sometimes during the day too depending on how my son is positioned. It makes me walk funny.

Totally normal unfortunately. I had it since  17 weeks with bub 1 and 19 weeks this time round. It is the actual worst but usually disappears once bub arrives!

SPD I have it really bad and did with my first baby too .. very painful. Tell your midwife and she will tell you things that you can do to help it. I’m currently taking pain relief for it and it does help a bit ☺️ xx

Yes! My doctor said it was normal. That it was the relaxin and that the only way to make it stop is to have the baby. She said some people have it so bad they can’t walk. I have to move my legs at the same time. Like keep my knees together until both feet are on the floor. If I put more weight on one than the other I have to take 30 seconds for the pain to leave.
