unemployment

my boyfriend has been barely handling the bills the mortgage, water, electric plus are added bills outside of home. i was let due too the pandemic in may & have been filing since so i have pretty good back coming would i be stupid to help him out? i’ve been back & fourth between my moms house & his since having are son 4 months ago mainly his house for the most part . never asked for a dime from me but too handle the groceries an household items. but i want to let him know that’s he’s appreciated an im grateful to be able to stay home with are son, i’ve recently landed 2 jobs that start soon. so this won’t be a one time gesture i just don’t wanna look stupid according to my family 🙄

#UPDATE of course i know it’s stupid not too help, i explained this too my mom because i pay her rent where 2 of my other grown siblings live letting her know that i couldn’t afford to pay bills at both house & i was called stupid, a dumb ass for even considering to help him.

#UPDATE2 I pay my moms entire rent, not partial or a certain amount $1600 monthly & like i started earlier theirs two other adults that are made to do nothing in the home, i don’t mind helping anyone i just can’t pay bills at both homes im at my moms 1 night out the week & i sleep in the living room that shouldn’t be grounds to pay rent
