When did you announce your pregnancy?

I'm 19 weeks and just about to tell my family and friends in the next couple weeks

I announced my 2nd pregnancy to everyone very early. It ended in a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I was devastated. The pain of having to repeatedly explain i was no longer pregnant was very difficult for me. The next time I got pregnant, I chose to only tell my close family in case of another miscarriage. That one ended at 7 weeks, too. Personally, I found it much easier to deal with the loss the second time I miscarried because fewer people knew. A year later, I had my 2nd beautiful, healthy daughter. And a year after that I had a healthy set of twins. But I always recommend not officially announcing a pregnancy until about 3 months.

I waited till my first ultrasound about 9 weeks

Risky to do it before 12 weeks.  I know it's a hard long wait x

I told my family and close friends pretty much right away - waiting until I hit 13 weeks/have my next ultrasound to tell work and everyone else

We told our parents as soon as we found out with our son. This time around, we may hold off a little until we get past the first trimester.

I always believe in telling people after 13 weeks.

I found out when I was 4 weeks and told people I knew wouldn't blab to my parents.  I was 19 and was Expected to go to College.  I waited until I had enough courage to tell my family.  And though I was only 6 weeks pregnant my sister in law said id miscarry because I told everyone before i was 3 months. I know have a 4 month old baby girl

I Mc at 16 weeks so I'm not sure when I'd announce to anyone the next time around

I had a Mc at 11 wks. So next time we try we'll be  announcing when we get our second ultrasound or 15wks.. ?
