Genital Herpes and Discharge

Has anyone had brown discharge with genital herpes? I had 1 sore (assuming it’s a herpe) show up on the tip of my vagina lip, it was sore for 1 day and then now it’s went down and I have brown discharge... google says discharge should be clear or a tiny amount of blood, but mines the same as if my period was starting, which it’s still 2 weeks away.. its very dark and about a medium flow amount for discharge
