Kitchen floors wood or tile?

I’m thinking of remodeling my floors. I hate the carpet but my husband and we can’t agree. I prefer wood floors all around the house, even in the kitchen. He thinks mostly would floors as well but wants to redo kitchen floors with tile.

We did wood floors throughout. I prefer fewer transitions in my house. I feel like multiple different floorings make rooms look smaller.

I think both would be fine - we have wood throughout our downstairs including kitchen, and I think it looks nice

I find tile so hard on my feet, so with needing to stand for longer periods of time in a kitchen with cooking and washing dishes, I prefer wood.

I like both but depends on cabinets. If cabinets are painted then I'm down for wood floors. If cabinets are the wood grain than I prefer tile. Just feel sometimes wood grain cabinets and floors together can be too much or hard to pick the right mix to compliment each other.

I prefer tile in the kitchen, it holds up better to all the wear and tear and water kitchen floors see. Same with bathrooms because of the water.
