VBAC?

Anyone else going for a VBAC on here or have attempted/had one?

I’m a good candidate for vbac but if the conditions are not perfect, I’ll need a c-section again. 
I didn’t realize that if you need to be induced, you have to get a c-section due to risk of the uterus rupturing. Maybe this is just in my situation?  
My friend tried to vbac but the baby got too big. Depends on every situation. 
Just make sure you choose the option you’re comfortable with - don’t let anyone pressure you!

To share a positive story... I had an induced VBAC at 38w! My first was a c-section because he was breech. I have to deliver at 38w because I'm high risk and my Dr was willing to try an induced VBAC by breaking my water (no other supplementation except they did a very low dose of pitocin once I was contracting on my own). Whole thing was 5hrs start to finish. It was wonderful!

I sooo want to! First pregnancy I had to be induced(became high risk due to high fluid) 30 hours of labor and made it to 8 but baby girl was angled funny. My dr said we can consider it, just seeing how this pregnancy goes🤞

I wish! My ob has already shut it down. My 1st my water broke at 40w and I labored naturally for 10 hours, dilated to a 2, and then pitocin for another 10 hrs and got to a 3/4.
Baby went into distress and emergency csection. Ob says I have a pelvis that’s too narrow and she doesn’t think I can dilate.
I’ve thought of looking for another ob, but there’s none nearby that do vbacs and with Covid idk how I feel about traveling far for appts & birth.

I’m thinking about it... doing some research at the moment. Midwife very supportive. Haven’t seen consultant yet but expect them to be less keen!

I attempted VBAC for my second and failed. 😔 but I’ve heard success stories! Best wishes for you! As for me... I know this 3rd and final baby will have to be a scheduled c-section.

I’d like to try for a vbac but my doctor said the only way he’ll take me for one is if I go in and I’m in labor. If not, I’ll have a repeat section, which is what I DONT want at all.

I’m interested in potentially trying it. My first baby was 9 pounds and after days of labour and Pitocin I didn’t dilate past 4/5. I’m thinking if baby is measuring big again I might need to go with a section but we’ll see. My doc encouraged a c section but said I can think about it.

I’ll be trying for one! I am 10 weeks and had my first appt last week. I specially chose my doctor because he is well known for being VBAC supportive. I’m very nervous already but know this is something I want to do!
