When is a good day to test?

I'm about 4dpo, I know right now it's too early to test, but when is the best time to? Since I ovulated early this month, the app says I'm due March 10 for AF. If I were to test before then when is the best time to?

This may be random question how do u count ur dpo ? Do U go by how many days since the 33% chance or by the end of the green ?

For best results - wait till you've missed your period - but if your like me it's hard to wait!! I tested 2 days before my missed period and got a faint positive - then tested again the day after my missed period and it was definitely positive it was super dark! I used first response early detection.
