Need gift theme ideas

I have some friends that have taken us in as their family. I have no one outside of them.

I want to make something for everyone for christmas this year, but it's easiest for me to choose a theme and everyone gets a personalized gift within that theme. Like everyone gets a mug with their favorite quote and filled with their favorite goodies.

So my preferred craft of choice is crocheting and I want to crochet something for everyone but I need more ideas.

So far themes I have in mind are wall hangings, hats, throw pillows and amigurumis.

I have 4 adults and 4 teens that this would be for so I need to get started much sooner than later.

I try to stretch myself in my skills with crocheting so when I say wall hangings it would have like their favorite band on there or for throw pillows it would be like a pikachu head and not just a boring round pillow so if you have an idea that doesnt sounds crazy simple, still share, please.
