My son is 7 months old and I’m thinking about having another baby. Not just yet but it’s on my mind. However, I had to be induced at 39 weeks due to him measuring big and I had polyhydramnios. Induction didn’t go to plan, I had 4 prostaglandin gels, 1 worked and I dilated to 3cm but I had to wait over 24 hours to go to labour ward to have waters popped. When I eventually got there my cervix had closed back up and I had gone back posterior. So I had to have emergency c section. My questions are, would a failed induction happen again ie cervix not dilating? Would I automatically have to have another c section because I’ve already had one? And how long would I have to wait to have another baby after having a c section? Anybody been in similar situation and can help me out with this.
