Double Stroller

Question

I’m pregnant with my second baby and I was wondering if getting a double stroller is necessary or a waste of money? Just don’t want to spend the money on a double stroller if we aren’t going to use it.

Depends on the age and how often you go out. Mine was 2.5 when baby was born and we got this double (for 1/3 price on FB). We go out for a walk every evening and on weekends we go on the long paths at some state parks. My oldest loves walking/running but gets tired by the end and wants to ride. Baby is now a year old and we still use it very often. Both of them started out walking tonight but by the end both were riding. It’s also been super nice during covid, I put baby on one side and use the other for my groceries so I don’t need a cart (I know they clean them religiously at my store but it’s one of those things that freaks me out), this stroller is very easy to get through the store too.

I have this one. I have a 2 year old and six year old. When we go for walks my two year olf sits in front and there is an attachment you can add to the back that we use for my 6 year old. (It is like a bench seat) also, she can just stand in the back .

Make sure it collapses and can fit into your trunk! My trunk is small but this will fit if I take off the front tray and shade. Also, look up how car seats connect. This one allows car seats in both seats.

You have a few options. Something like the Zoe tandem could work well. You can convert it to a single when the older one is definitely done. You could also look at something like a city select or vista that has 1 or 2 seats depending how you configure it. Or you can find a rider board for the stroller you currently have. It’s really dependent on your kid and how they do.

Depends on the age of your first child, my daughter was over 2 when our son was born in Feb, we bought a buggy board as we figured our daughter was too old for a pram anymore, it has been great.
