I’ve had hormonal birth control for 6 years. I first started with the mirena iud but had yeast infections every single month so I got it removed and got the nexplanon implant. I am still getting yeast infections regularly!! And i am just completely done with it so I decided to stop using hormonal bc. I was interest in the copper iud but I’ve heard horror stories from close friends (yes ik every body is different). Even though I’ve had an iud, I had terrible problems with it and it puncturing my uterus scares me so I don’t really want to risk it. I get my implant removed September 8th but am trying to plan ahead. I know condoms are a thing even tho my partner isn’t happy about it but i was wondering if anyone has other recommendations?
