If you own a cat:

Help! We’ve had our cat for almost a year and a couple weeks ago she decided she didn’t want to use the litter box anymore 🤦🏻‍♀️ she pees and poops in the basement literally just a few feet away from her box. I read online that it could be because it’s too dirty, but this isn’t the case. We also haven’t changed anything about her litter box or the house (no new animals either). She’s not in any pain, she’s super happy and there’s no blood in her poop. She looked at me dead in the eye earlier today while she peed on the cement floor. So I know she wasn’t in pain while urinating because I watched her do it. Anyone been through this? Tips?
