Talking?

Hi is anyones little one saying more than one word ? My little one said mama a couple of times at random and dada also but that's it I know some kids at 12 months are big talkers. She likes to talk but it mostly baby babble. Is there something maybe I can try to help her along ???

My son just babbles, too lol. I didn’t think we needed to worry about this for a while, but following.

My son did a lot of babbling and says dada, dad, daddy, hi dad...and refuses to say mama! Lol then out of nowhere he started saying "what's that?" And has now progressed to "what is that?" I love that he says that because he always points to something so I feel like hes learning new words everytime we answer and tell him what it is that hes pointing at. He sometimes says "all done" as well.

“Dada”, “mama” and she will say “ta” when I pass something over to her. 
They say slow talkers, fast walkers or fast walkers, slow talkers.. this seems true in our little family as she says these words but not up for walking yet haha

My baby only says mama and dada. Just read to them everyday & try to narrate every thing you do so they're constantly listening to you speak

The most frequent one that I can actually discern as “words” is “Uh oh!” Otherwise, lots of “mamama” and “dadada” but not really directed at us quite yet.

We just have the simple things. 
Dada, Mama, Nana, and Booboo(the dog) 
I kind of made it a mission of mine to get her talking because I didn't say anything til I was almost 2. Not even Dada or Mama. 
So I was constantly saying everyone's names over and over when referring to them and then literally one day out of nowhere "Dada" and then a few weeks apart for the rest. Now she never shuts up  haha
Just keep working with baby!! Nothing to worry about. Like I said, I didn't talk til almost 2 and I'm pretty normal 😁
