iud strings - is this okay??

so i got my iud almost 4 weeks ago (kyleena) & ive had the random spotting & all of that but ive started a period today. i checked my strings a few days ago & they were really high & tucked around my cervix. i checked them today & they are VERY low. like i could feel them probably two inches from the opening. i didn’t feel any hard plastic, but i’m just wondering if this is normal? i didn’t ask as many questions at my initial appointment for insertion because i was nervous so now all of these questions are flooding to me. i have my first string check next week but with them being low it makes me nervous. i read that the strings can lower depending on how low your cervix is but i just wanted to get some opinions!!! tia!!!
