Contractions??

All day I've been having tightening but at around 930 I started getting them more often.. I've never gone into labor on my own and my last 2 pregnancies have been csections so idk what to expect. I started timing the tightening about 30 minutes ago and they happen about every 3 minutes they aren't painful but then again I'm in bed.. Once I stand up or walk around its like a stabbing pain. Baby seems to be active idk if that's normal or not. I don't know if I should just try and sleep and wait for it to hurt or just call the doctor!
