I was induced at 8 am Monday November 9th they gave me cervialdal which is a pill that gets inserted inside you next to the cervix it helps ripen the cervix. I got on at 9 am then again at 1 pm still wasn't having progress got my last one at 4 pm they checked my cervix at about 845 15 mins before I could get another the Doctor desided he wanted to stop the process until Tuesday morning he wanted me to sleep. They gave me a sleeping med and at that point my boyfriend needed to go home to walk the dog he was trying to wait until I was asleep but after the sleeping med the contractions got worse and more frequent my nurse didn't believe me and told me at 845 I was only 3 centimeters I didn't dialate that quick I demanded a check she checked and said wow ur 7 centimeters I dialated 4 centimeters in an hour text my boyfriend n told him hurry back as we lived about a half hour away from the hospital. He arrived soon after I text and I made him call my step mom so she could be there at 1050 my new nurse was just coming on duty I told her I got to push she said no u don't we are getting everything ready for your epidural as I asked for one she checked me at 1115 as she had to get the doctor order for the epidural I was 10 centimeters w baby crowning I did it natural no pain meds and once it got started I had my baby boy at 11:52 pm he was 9 pounds 8.9 ozs. He was a week and a day over due.
