it was my turn !

i asked my 5 year old when he thought his baby brother would make his debut. he told me tuesday. I was highly doubtful

My midwife called me monday night to let me know i had an induction date set for friday and to remind me of tuesday’s appointment at 11am. I was 41+3 at this point.

Tuesday morning at 5am i woke up to some painful contractions but they where super far apart. i think i maybe had 3 between 5-6am. come 6am all of a sudden they came full force , back to back every minute. I called my mom knowing we had no time to drop my son off before heading to the hospital.

she showed up and she helped me make it to the door inbetween contractions. i live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex , by the time i made it down the 3 flights of stairs. i screamed at my mom that i felt the urge to push. sure enough my water broke right there , 2 pushes later and his head was out , i ended up laying on the floor of the parking lot while my mom sat on the phone with 911 being told how to help birth my son 😂 it was absolutely traumatic.

he came in weighing 8lbs 7oz. he was 20 inches long and i had 1 small tear.

i’m beyond proud of myself.
