Induction with Cervidil?

How many ladies had inductions with Cervidil? How long did it take to work and how long did it take for you to deliver your baby and was it less painful than Pitocin? I had five other inductions and I only had Pitocin and I usually was only a centimeter dilated and about 60% effaced. I labored only five hours last time. This is a new doctor and they want to use Cervidil on me and I’mAlready 3 cm dilated And 50% effaced. So I’m nervous because I’ve never had Cervidil and I don’t know why I’m having this if I’m so much more dilated than I was before. Should I tell them I don’t want it and just stick with pitocin. I’m scared I don’t like not being in charge
