So my best asked me to go to a lake with her family for a week, which honestly would be really good for our friendship. it’s been rocky ever since my boyfriend and i started dating, we’ve drifted from each other.. but i also don’t want to not see my boyfriend for a week. he has separation anxiety and i don’t know how that would be on him. i don’t know what to do, could any of you give me some advice? 😐

Go. He needs to learn to be independent. He shouldn’t be getting separation anxiety from being away from you. That’s not healthy.

Go. The way you phrased your poll leads me to believe that being with your boyfriend wouldn't really be enjoyable for you. Like "enjoy summer" "stay with boyfriend" if it wouldn't be enjoyable to be with your boyfriend i would ask yourself why you're even with him. I think you should always want to be with your SO but obviously not spend every single moment. It's good to make time for friends too but I think the want to be with your boyfriend should always be there. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's only a week and it's good to keep friends around and make sure you're not blowing them off. 🤷🏻‍♀️
