Switching to formula?

Breast feeding isn’t working for me or baby. I think we’re going to switch to formula... anyone do this? How does it work😫

I breastfed my first for 5 months and hated every second of it. I switched to formula and was so much happier. It was worth it. This time, I started off with formula. 
I would recommend Dr. Brown’s bottles and enfamil gentle formula

I didn’t like breastfeeding and switched to formula when my baby was a week old. I have been way happier since!

Do you have multiple bottle options? It might take a couple to find one your LO likes. Do you plan on pumping at all? I would recommend tommee tippee or philips avent bottled. MAM bottles are good anti-colic bottles. You should expect pooping to decrease to only minimum once a day with formula. I would also watch out for constipation since formula is thicker than breast milk. If you are concerned with gassy or fussyness I would recommend Enfamil Neuropro Gentlease. It worked wonders for my LO

My first was tongue tied and I had to fight to get him clipped so he could latch. Then he had tummy issues and had to be on special formula. We switched right to formula and he loved it. We use Playtex ventaire bottles because they are easy in baby and reduce gas. With our second he was able to do pumped breast milk, but it would upset his belly and couldn’t figure out the issues so we switched to formula. We did half formula and half breast milk for a few days and the. Switched fully to formula. Baby girl just got here yesterday. She’s in formula until we go home later today and then we will try pumped breast milk, but I’m not going to be heartbroken if it doesn’t work. Most babies will switch to formula no problem. We use Similac Pro-sensitive because it’s the closest to breast milk and helps with spit up (my second had reflux issues). Let me know if you have any questions 🤗

My little girl is 2weeks 4days old now and she has been just formula fed the past 5 days. From day one, she was having issues latching on, and then she was able to do it a few times but the pain was horrible, and it felt like she really wasn't getting fed. I tried pumping which was painful and not producing enough. Nipples hurt for days because of the pain. I spent a lot of time crying over this whole thing because I felt like I failed her.
