lemme cut right to the chase. i’m 17, gay, lonely, and am thinking about using tinder. i think you can use it if you’re under 18, but you’ll only connect with people under 18. idk really. 
any thought or advice would be greatly appreciated <3
edit: i don’t really WANT to use tinder...i’m just sick of being rejected by girls who *seemed* too like me. being gay is hard i don’t have the mental capacity for this shit smh

My best friend and ex-gf could relate! I was her first super serious relationship when she was 20, and now she’s struggling on the dating apps again. It’s honestly hard to date for everyone and even harder trying to date women just because it’s a smaller percentage of the population. But don’t be discouraged. Do what you want in regards to dating but keep in mind that you are wonderful and worth it and give yourself love too. Tinder can be fun, but it’s also kind of depressing ngl. I don’t have experience with it prior to being 18, but it is a great place to meet people. I met my boyfriend of nearly 4 years on tinder ! Just be very careful/safe and meet them in a public place until you’re comfortable with them. Also I would let a friend know who you are going out with just to be super careful !
