Breach?

Our little girl kept her ankles crossed like a perfect little lady yesterday. Her knees are currently on my cervix. Do other people have babies currently in the breach position? How likely is it that it’ll change over the next 20 weeks?

My son was breach and I felt him do a huge somersault at 28w. Sure enough, next appt he was head down and stayed there until birth. Baby has plenty of time to flip. Try not to worry!

I wouldn't consider her breech yet. She will likely flip a ton of times between 20w and birth.

No experience with the breach position, but there’s so much time and room for baby to move around and settle into the right position. Best of luck to you!

Mine was still breech at my 20 week appointment. I thought it was weird that they mentioned anything to me since I feel like it’s still so early.. hoping both our babies flip on time!

Plenty of time to get into position! My son was breech until 30 weeks. This baby has turned multiple times between ultrasounds 🤣

Ver likely, baby should be fully vertical with their head down butt up by week 30

I had two ultrasounds two weeks apart and she not only changed position completely between them but also during the ultrasounds. They’re very active at this stage, even if you can’t feel it, and lots of room still to move all over and flip around.

99.9% positive it’ll change! Obviously there’s still that slight chance you could have a breach baby but there’s no way to tell at 20 weeks. At 20 weeks position doesn’t matter. That baby’s got 20 more weeks of somersaults to do yet! Generally if you reach 36 weeks and are still breach that’s when they’ll start to make a plan of action. But until then there’s no reason to worry

Very likely baby will flip by due date. They still have tons of room in there :) usually by 36-38 weeks if they’re not head down that’s when they start talking about trying to flip/c-section.
