Twins?!

Hello! I had my first ultrasound today. The ultrasound tech said that there is only one baby but it looks like there is two to me .. that’s a really big yolk sac ..

How far along are you in this pic? We were able to see both heartbeats at 6 weeks on ultrasound very clearly and when one passed we could clearly see the one heartbeat still going and the other was not.
A friend of mine kept having ppl tell her it was twins bc the yolk sac was so big. The tech and Dr said one baby and at her next scan it was in fact one baby and a visible yolk sac. If it were twins the tech more than likely would've been able to see 2 hearts flickering and told you so.

Yolk sac can be comparable size to your babe as that’s what’s feeding it until the placenta!

I personally would trust the tech... they’re trained for these things. It not very often they get it wrong!
