Hi. I am 36 & have been on birth control for 18 years. I literally know nothing about my cycle because I was prescribed birth control due to hormonal migraines & under doctor supervision (obgyn & neuro) I have had minimal periods over all of these years.

At my last annual appointment (in December) I asked my obgyn about TTC & coming off birth control & all she said was to relax & enjoy.

I need some advice & info on what I should be doing because I feel clueless.

Should I just finish my current pack of pills & not start a new one? Should I buy ovulation tests? Do I need to wait a few periods for things to get back to normal?

Please help!
