High blood pressure ???

At what time would you go to the emergency room for blood pressure ? Ive been the last two days at aroubd 140/95. Idk like at what point would be emergency room blood pressure. My ob is aware, they did blood work today for preeclampsia, and i have to monitor my pressure twice a day at home. Im 29 weeks pregnant, so im just tryna figure out like at what point would be the point i shud just go to the ER. Ive been feeling wierd not like headache, but just outta it like foggy and sooooo tired. But that cud be normal so idkk. Any adviceee?

Your doctor should give you a range. A blood oressure of 130/90 could be low and could be high for someone--it varies from person to person. If it's higher than your usual and you have other pre eclampsia signs, then I'd say go get checked out. :)

They need to monitor your urine for protein & your blood pressure. I had severe preeclampsia twice & it freaking sucks. Sadly im 5 weeks pregnant now & scared about getting it again. The headaches, throbbing, feeling dizzy, seeing black spots are reasons to get checked before it gets worse.

I would ask your doctor that question. They will be able to guide you best. Call them tomorrow and ask to talk to a nurse and get guidance. I had high bp through my pregnancy. My doctor wanted me to call if I got a top number over 140 or a bottom number over 100 when monitoring at home. They never advised me to go to the ER, just call and get in touch with the on call doc and they would advise me.

My blood pressure was the same around 32 weeks. I had high BP before getting pregnant. We monitor baby twice a week at the hospital, did blood work and a 24 hour urine test to rule out preeclampsia. All my labs came out normal so I was just told to rest and try not to do too much physical stuff. I also started to eat alot less salt and eat a little healthier with more water and the last few weeks my BP has been on point! Im almost 35 weeks

They should have started you on a blood pressure medication and took you off work to rest. Absolutely. That’s high. If they aren’t treating it at all yet, that’s an issue. Don’t ignore it. Get another opinion
