5 days before period and pink spotting

So according to another period app I use, my period is due in 5 days. Its always been correct. Well today I noticed I had pink spotting, along with clear ewcm. I never have this before a period. Last week was my fertile week and me and my husband were intimate. Dr google says implantation bleeding. Also saw it could be from hormone fluctuation. Thoughts on this? Although we are not ttc, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be excited. Husband is a different story so I'm nervous.

I also like to mention I am not tracking so idk my dpo.
