Possible Egg Allergy?

Question

If your child has an egg allergy, do they get a rash like this on their cheeks? My son had a few bites of my hard-boiled egg today and got this rash shortly after. He's had the rash a few times but I've never kept track of what might be causing it. He's only has eggs a few times as well. I will obviously do some experimenting to see what caused it but I was just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience with egg allergies. Thanks!

My nephew has severe food allergies. Like allergic to everything under the sun it seems! How we found out about his allergies is by feeding him eggs when he was around 7 months old. He broke out in severe rash and has suffered from eczema ever since. He’s almost 16 now and it’s taken a lot to be able to manage it but we do. He has to get shots at his allergy doctor every week. Be super careful if he does turn out to be allergic and if it keeps up get him seen to a doctor ASAP. My nephew got ahold of a piece of peanut candy a few months after the egg incident and almost dies cause of a severe but allergy to. It’s hard but manageable when seen by the right doctor and given the right meds. Since he was a baby we’ve had to read the ingredients of literally everything we buy to make sure he can have it. No processed on the same conveyer belt as products with eggs or peanuts either.
