Are 3-4 year olds loud all the time?

My sister in laws kid is always loud and sometimes she screams when she sings. I mentioned how loud she is and how I’m not used to it. She says all kids are this way 🙄 and that my son will be loud too. I frankly find that to be some bs but figured I’d ask other moms. Tia

All 4 of my kids so far started being loud and slightly obnoxious by age 2. My oldest will be 11 and is barely slowly not being as loud as the others. Now this doesn’t mean that yours will be because all kids are different but just don’t be surprised if he gets loud and obnoxious around 2 or 3

Even if kids are loud, there’s no reason you can’t at least try to correct them because that’s not always appropriate behavior.

Every kid is different.  I grew up in a house with 5 kids. One sibling would scream like a banshee for years and another was like a monk with a vow of silence even at the age of 2.   I would say it is more common for kids to be loud, especially when excited or upset, but  some are quieter.  Either way they all still get into trouble and are cute as can be :)

I think it's healthy to be loud but it's also good to teach them there are times to keep it quiet. My little girl knows when I need quiet and she can regulate. She's 3 going on 4 in November. Just know that all kids have different personalities and develop differently. You might want to make it a game and give them a treat for being quiet for x amount of time or engage then in a quiet game like Simon says or I spy when you're there and need a little calm. Playdough helps too

It really depends on the kid, my daughter isn't loud at all. She has her moments when she needs my attention and will basically scream. But that's 10% of the time.

Not at all. My niece is crazy loud but my nephew is probably one of the quietest people Ive ever known. My best friends son is also very quiet.
