Hamburger buns

How long do hamburger buns last on the counter. I bought hamburger buns on the 23rd and made homemade cheeseburgers on Friday the 24th. I have 4 buns left over, the best by date is for today the 30th. I'm buying for some burgers today and I'm wondering if the buns are still safe to eat? They don't feel hard and I don't see any mold or anything.
