i am not looking to start a vaccine debate .. whatever you believe is what you believe , my daughter has her 1 month appointment before she actually turns 1 month - she was born 7.16 and her 1 month appointment is 8.11.. do you think it is bad to give the 1 month vaccines before she actually turns 1 month? FTM problems 😩🤦🏼‍♀️

No, just a couple days. But my baby only got one shot at one month. He’s 4 months now.

The one month ones are really the start of them, (besides the few in the hospital) after that then the scheduling matters, for example we were a few days late for my babies 3 month shots so they wouldn’t schedule his 6 month until it had been exactly 3 months so we were a few days after he turned 6 months as well. But my doctors office takes care of checking the schedule and making sure the timing is right!

My girls pediatrician said it doesn't really matter by a few weeks. At her 6 week appointment I was asked if I was going back to work and I said no. She said she was wondering because they would be able to do whatever vaccines needed for daycare all at once. I asked if it was bad and she said no. Would they prefer to stretch them out? Yes. But plenty of people need to go back to work around 6 weeks and baby needs to be protected. So doing them a little early or even a little late is okay

It can matter depending on your insurance! Some plans won’t cover the immunization before the exact date. Check with your pediatrician’s office staff, they’ll know.

Just check into whether it makes a difference for day cares and schools in your area. I know that we couldn’t do earlier only because of how schools review records in our state/county. 
But my little guy didn’t get anything till 2 months if I remember correctly.
