Membrane Sweep?

I’m getting my membranes stripped next week and I’m not sure what to expect. 
Mommas that have been through it before or have gotten done what does it feel like? Did you go into labor? Any advice to help it work?

Ive had mine done with my daughter i was 38+4 days n it didnt hurt at all and it moved pretty quickly for me i ended going in to labor watering breaking at 38+5 and gave birth to her at 38+6 n im planning on doing it again for my son at 37 weeks n im currently 33 weeks now

My doctor was super rough when doing it next day I had bloody show and the following day I went into labor

Had my done on Tuesday it was extremely painful bc my cervix is so far back my body was running from him

I got mine done yesterday, I am 39w4d. It was uncomfortable but definitely not painful. Took less than a minute. I had minor cramping and spotting. I don’t feel like it did much though

Dr did it in office. No weird tools. It was uncomfortable but did not hurt. Caused some spotting but not much. Did not result in labor.

I had it done around 37 weeks and it was painful for me. It didn’t work either. I only got it done that early though because I was being induced a few days after.

I had it done with my first around 38 weeks. It was a little painful but didn’t last very long. My water broke within 48 hours of it.
