Our little Lorena Celeste arrived a week ago via C-section after her heart rate dropped during the induction process. I have never been so terrified in my life as when I went into the OR. The doctor, nurses, and anesthesiologist all helped me stay calm and get through it. I had never been hospitalized or had an IV before, so everything was new and scary for me. Thankfully, we were both healthy coming out of it.

Have now been home 4 days and still require assistance to get from laying down to sitting/standing. I don’t know how a single mom would deal with recovery after being released from the hospital. I am very fortunate that my husband has been such a great support. He does go back to work next week so I really hope my mobility improves by then.
