If you’ve watched my journey you’d understand how long I’ve been wanting a child of my own. Growing up a lesbian I never really understood the power of having a family. The love of wanting a family . I never thought I would be able to be in this very moment. I did my research and really paid attention to my body with a few failed attempts , I look at my son everyday and just thank him for choosing me. Unlike most , I had to choose to be here . I had to PLAN to have a child hoping that my body would agree . Becoming pregnant was one of the most emotionally draining things I’ve ever had to grow through . But if you are like me when you want something you’ll do everything in your power to obtain it. For all the women whether you are gay, straight , lesbian or non-binary , you DESERVE to feel the very thing I feel everyday. Don’t allow society to force into their normalcy.
