Braxton Hicks or baby movement?

Question

How can you tell the difference between BH contractions and typical baby movement? I have a posterior placenta so I feel a lot of his movements and sometimes it feels like he’s pressing against me so hard, that my whole belly feels hard, but maybe this is BH?

I’m confused too. However I recently had a NST done and when I thought I was feeling big movements the machine was actually picking up what I was feeling as contractions. I had no idea I was having any kind of contractions, I just thought it was baby moving. So it could be BH! I know this doesn’t really help

Sometimes I get them confused. Its hard to tell if shes pressing her back out or if its a braxton hicks!

The way I’ve been able to tell is by sitting or laying down & feeling around! If it’s all hard & uncomfortable than I know it’s BH. I get quite a few every day now so I usually know 💙
