Would you let your wall-sharing neighbors know about your impending bundle of joy? I haven’t really met many of our neighbors because we moved in about two weeks before everything shut down and a lot of people have been very reclusive (understandable...I have been too). I would not by any means be announcing to our whole condo complex, just the folks we share walls/ceilings/etc with. Luckily we are ground floor.

My two thoughts were:

a) hang a little gift bag on their door with a heads-up/“announcement.” In that gift bag I’d put some nice ear plugs, a bag of nice coffee or teas, and some store-bought (but nice) cookies or candies.

b) say nothing because it could invite people to complain to you about noise or something...
