Question, Was your first period light?

I’m exclusively breastfeeding, baby is 5 weeks old. I stopped bleeding around 3 weeks postpartum and then just started spotting again but super light pretty much just when I wipe and today I had a small spot from the whole day.

I got the nexplanon in at the hospital day after baby was born.

Is the spotting a period starting or just spotting from the nexplanon?

With my first baby I didn’t get a period again until I stopped breastfeeding her a little over a year postpartum
