What time do you put your baby to bed (a baby that’s less than a year old)?

And what time do they wake up?
I put my 7 month old to bed at 7:30 PM and she used to wake up at 7:30 AM￼. However lately she’s decided to get up at 6 AM. 
I’m just wondering what other people do. I expect her to sleep until 7:30 AM so she gets her 12 hours. At this point I’m wondering if I should change bedtime to 6:00 PM or 6:30 PM ￼￼if she’s going to be waking up around 6 AM everyday, but I’m scared she’ll wake me up at 4:30 am if I do that.  Any tips/advice are much appreciated.

I have a six month old. We live semi off grid so natural light is a big factor where we live. In this past summer, we tried to get her to sleep at 7pm, but the sky is just too bright at that time and she will fight it. So now we bathe her at 8pm, and she’s usually sleeping at 9pm, when the day is darker. She wakes around 7-8am, again, depending on how bright it is and whether it is a cloudy day etc. 
I think this is actually pretty healthy. She’s growing up around nature and has a true circadian rhythm!

When my guy was that age, he had a 7:30 bedtime. Designated wake time wasn't until 7:30 or 8 if he could manage it, so sometimes if he woke up earlier (6-7 AM), I would either go check if he pooped or just let him chat to himself and play in his crib until 7:30 AM. Sometimes, especially when they are learning a new skill or going through a mental leap, they just sleep a little less! As long as your baby isn't screaming or crying too hard when they wake, everything is fine. Just might have to shift naps depending on the tiredness level!

Why do you think she needs a full 12 hours? My 9 week old feel into a routine on his own, he goes to sleep around 8pm and sleeps until 4am.

That’s fine!! I’m assuming your babe also naps so they are getting sleep, some babies just need less or more sleep than others. I wouldn’t worry to much about it :)

At that age my daughter was doing 7:30pm to 8am. However she was only getting one short 30 minute nap a day, maybe 2 if we were lucky. How many naps a day does she get? I wouldn’t change her bedtime but maybe adjust her naps if you think that’ll help. 
I will say that she may also change it up on you again in a few days and go back to sleeping until 7:30 - if she’s going through a developmental leap that might be why she’s been waking up earlier than normal.

6 month old twins. Twin b takes short nap from 7 to 8 then both go down around 930 and on good night sleep till 4am feed then 8am... lately though been 2am, 6am,9am then up for day 😴😴😴😴😴😴
